CONTRACT VALUE

DATE OF COMPLETION

The site was in a problematic soil classification region, with the presence of acid sulphate soils underlying 1.2m of engineered fill. The Australian standards limit the application of the residential slabs and footings to the construction of full brick concrete construction on class P soils.

Amaan design out the solution by utilising screw piling techniques and ensuring the design details mitigated the risk of long term foundation settlement and differential movement. The architectural design required a mix of commercial design applications with a residential feel with open voids behind cantilevered balconies and an attached pool to the ground floor living area
