A&A Structural Solutions was contracted by Ace Demolitions and Excavation to Design and construct the proposed development comprising of pre-cast tilt up concrete panels and a structural steel roof, with commercial office space. The 3,600m2 site comprised of a 1200m2 single level basement accommodating 37 car spaces, and storage area.
The development was designed and built by Amaan, utilising pre-cast tilt up wall construction and pre-fabricated structural steel elements, the design and construction planning enabled the construction to take place without the need to back prop or design the suspended reinforced concrete slab over the basement to withstand the establishment of the 300ton crane required for the erection of the tilt up walls. The construction of the 300m3 Onsite detention located in the driveway was programmed after the erection of the main structure and elimination of the required heavy plant required onsite.
